Domino’s is a household name in the world of pizza delivery, both in the United States and abroad. Their solid menu of Italian American pizzas, entrees and side dishes has been a staple in American food culture since their opening in 1960. They are also the 2nd largest pizza chain in the United states today, with over 9000 stores in 60 countries worldwide today.

However, the recent economic recession and financial turmoil which is even spreading countries outside of the United States can even make coupons useful for pizza and fastfood purchases. From your main course to side dishes and entrees, coupons can now be used to claim discounts and freebies. Domino’s coupons have been available for a long time in the United States now, making claiming some savings from your local Domino’s pizza much easier, especially in this day and age where prices for other goods for sustaining a living are rising fast.

The History of Domino’s Pizza

A man named Tom Monaghan and his brother, James, purchased a small pizza store in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1960. The brothers borrowed $500 to pay for the store, with a $75 downpayment. James traded his half of the business for a used Volkswagen Beetle from his brother Tom eight months later. Tom Monaghan then became the sole owner of this restaurant in 1965, and renamed the establishment into Domino’s Pizza. The first store christened as Domino’s Pizza franchise store opened in Ypsilanti in 1967. The original plan to add a new dot into the company logo with the addition of every new store was quickly abandoned when Domino’s pizza experienced rapid growth. The franchise had opened its 200th store by 1978.

The Domino’s pizza menu features a wide range of Italian American inspired pizzas, entrees, and side dishes. True to its namesake, pizza is the primary product offered, along with other specialty and custom pizzas available in the customer’s choice of crust thicknesses and toppings. Other products offered by the company may include pasta, bread bowls, oven baked sandwiches as well as chicken side dishes, breadsticks, beverages, and desserts, and which may vary depending on the region or country.

The debut of Domino’s newer products such as deep dish pan pizzas, the yard-long Dominator, the spicy Buffalo Chicken Kickers or Philly Cheese Steak Pizzas ensure that various customer’s tastes in pizzas and entrees are met. Domino’s continues its move toward specialty pizzas, with even more pizzas like the Brooklyn Style Pizza being a recent addition to their regular menu. This pizza features thinner crust which is cornmeal baked for added crispness, and larger slices characteristic of traditional New York style pizza. Domino’s also continues to branch out into non pizza products, now offering oven baked sandwiches in a variety of styles.

The company introduced its American Legends line of pizzas in 2009, which feature 40% more cheese and a wider variety of toppings than the regular menu pizzas. The Bread Bowl Pasta entree, a mildly seasoned bread bowl with pasta baked inside was introduced in the same year alongside the Lava Crunch Cake dessert. The latter dessert product is composed of warm fudge enclosed inside a crunchy chocolate shell.

Domino’s pizza now incorporates a new recipe which focuses on making pizza from the crust up. While there are significant changes in the dough, sauce and cheese used in Domino’s pizzas, the same great taste and care is still present, making them good value for money while still retaining quality and large serving sizes.

How To Claim Domino’s Coupons

Coupons are commonly presented in order to claim financial discounts or rebates when purchasing products of all kinds, and are usually in the form of a ticket or document. Coupons are usually produced under the supervision of manufacturers or retailers themselves, and can be packaged with various kinds of consumer goods. Coupons can then be used in stores during their sales promotions, even at Domino’s; A discounted price attainable with Domino’s coupons is relatively common worldwide.

Through the mail, in SMS messages on your cell phone, on online websites or even just handed out to you on the street, price conscious consumers have always used coupons to claim big savings. Retailers also make a profit from coupons as larger volumes of customers who avail of lower prices can sometimes mean for bigger profits for the retailer. Regions where price competition is running high can also be a targeted use of coupons by manufacturers. Domino’s coupons can be a great way to support your local Domino’s pizza and still get a good meal out of the deal.

The tried and tested method of including coupons with newspaper and magazine advertisements have expanded into many, many more ways to claim Domino’s coupons than ever before. The official website of Domino’s may offer promotional, printable versions of coupons, and can now be found in other places around the internet. Clipping coupons from publications such as newspapers has also been a popular method of obtaining coupons both for Domino’s coupons and for other products and foods. While this can be particularly problematic in that establishments may go through the process to determine whether your coupons were acquired through legitimate means or not, don’t let it discourage you from using them to claim savings in order to feed yourself properly, especially in this day and age of financial turmoil.

Dominos Menu

Domino’s Pizza has wide range of Menu. If you are ordering for the first time, the vast menu of Domino’s Pizza can be quite intimidating, and confuse you. As a coupon hunter, my choice is pretty straight forward. I order what’s on the specials with the best deal. And like Most deal hunters, I have ended ordering many things that I don’t really like, in the past, but now I have honed it down to a science. Anyway, you will always get the most updated Domino’s menu on their website too. But I thought i will also list down the menu here so that it makes your life slightly easier.

Also, since we have tons of visitors, just ask any questions by leaving the question the comments below and somebody will answer it.

Now the Domino’s Pizzas come in 4 different Sizes, like most Pizzas.
Small (10″), Medium (12″), Large (14″), X-Large (16″)
Depending on your appetite and how many people you are, you can chose the size. Me and my wife can not finish one Large Pizza, but a Medium is also too small.

All the pizza come with of course, Cheese, Sauce, Cheddar Cheese and Provolone Cheese

But Pizza is only Bread with cheese and tomatoes, if not for the Toppings. Oh thank God for the Italians. Domino’s sure have a wide range of Toppings some of which are:

Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Sliced Sausage, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Beef, Ham, Bacon, Salami, Philly Steak, Premium Chicken, Shredded Parmesan, Feta, Diced Tomatoes and the other usual toppings like onions and varios types of Peppers

Two of my favorite Pizza from the Domino’s Pizza Menu:

Memphis BBQ Chicken Pizza
If you like the taste of Memphis BBQ, or any of the Southern BBQ taste, this is the Pizza to order.
ExtravaganZZa Feast
Not a lot of people prefer this, but this is my go-to Pizza.
Pepperoni, Ham, Italian sausage, Beef, veggies and black olives with extra cheese.

Dominos Pizza Delivery

Every Pizza joint has a specialty. Even places have their own special thing about their Pizza. Ask anyone from Chi town, if he likes the New York Thin Crusted Pizza or vice versa, ask a New Yorker if he liked to think crusted Chicago Pizza. But the specialty of Domino’s Pizza have been their Delivery. Most of us are not really Pizza connoisseurs, and we don’t care too much for Gourmet Pizza. Just as don’t care too much about them $50 Kobe Beef Burgers. We love Pizza for the convenience. Pick up the phone, start a new level of your favorite Video game, and before you have killed your 5th Ogre, the Pizza is at the door. Of course, we love Pizza for the Cheese, and the Toppings, and the Pepperoni too. I mean, I will deliver the Pizza that delivers the fastest. Luckily, I love the taste of Dominos too. I like it better than a lot of the other Pizza Joints. But then I have never lived in NY or Chicago. So, for me, and for a lot of Pizza lovers, The delivery wins.

Here are a few Videos of their 30 Minute commercials. And I have always got my Pizza delivered under 30 minutes. Always. Some hail or high water. I have never tried ordering a pizza during a Hurricane though, but you got the drift.

Here is a Good One:

30 minutes went by so fast.
Favorite quotes:
Guys, I could take a trip around the block if you want some more time.

My favorite, the 30 minute Abs:

I won’t comment on what all the cheese will do to that Abs :-)

From your main course to other snack items, coupons can now be used to claim discounts and freebies. Pizza coupons have been available for a long time in the United States now, making claiming some savings from your local pizzeria much easier, especially in this day and age where prices for other goods are soaring.

The History of Pizza

Pizza has existed for ages in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. Said to be a dish of the poor people, it was first sold on the streets of Greece by the lower class and was not considered a legitimate kitchen recipe for a long time. It was also the early Greeks who first baked large, round and flat breads which they topped with oil, herbs, spices and a variety of toppings which may have included dates.

In 1889, the Queen consort of Italy, also known as the Margherita of Savoy asked a Neapolitan chef to create the Pizza Margherita, a pizza made with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil, in order to represent the colors which made up the Italian flag.

Pizza sale and consumption was limited mostly to Italian immigrants and their descendants before the 1940′s. The breakthrough of pizza into American consciousness and culture came after World War II, when Allied troops who occupied Italy who, tired of the bland taste of their rations, were constantly on the lookout for better tasting food. They discovered various pizzerias, where local bakers were eventually catered to satisfy the demands of these soldiers. The American troops eventually took their appreciation for pizzas back home.

Kinds of Pizzas

Pizza comes in a variety of shapes, sizes and styles across many regions of the United States alone. Arguably the most popular out of all of the styles, the New York style pizza is a style, true to its namesake, originally developed in New York City by Italian immigrants. These immigrants may also have come from Naples, where the pizza as we know it today was created. New York style pizza are often sold generously sized slices and are often thin and flexible. This style of pizza traditionally uses hand tossed dough, light on sauce, and moderately covered with cheese and toppings. Slices of the New York style pizza are sometimes eaten folded in half, or even stacked, as the size and inherent flexibility may make it unwieldy when held in the hand.

Many pizza establishments, both in New York and in other regions of America and the world, may offer two varieties of pizza shapes and sizes: The Neapolitan, or the regular made with a relatively thin, circular crust and served in the common wedge shaped slices. The Sicilian style of pizza can mean that the slices resemble a square or rectangular shape, and are typically made with a thicker, rectangular crust.

Coupons are usually implemented and produced by manufacturers or retailers themselves, and are usually distributed with their promo packages and goods. Coupons can then be used in stores during their sales promotions, even with pizzas from different establishments.

The common coupon can be obtained through e-mail, text messages on your cell phone, through online websites, and are even hand outs in grocery stores and malls. Recipients can use them to claim big savings on both freshly baked pizzas and pizzas of the frozen variety from grocery stores. Retailers also make a profit from coupons as larger volumes of customers who avail of lower prices can sometimes mean for bigger profits for the retailer.
